What about Watchful Spirit

btw I took you build and found a way to solo a single ettin.. I know some people complained about having that trouble.. it all about how long your protective spirit last.

KCP could best describe because I myself am still in the process of mastering it but here's how you do it....

As far as the Mesmers.... its all about timing.... they use Shatter Enchantments..... So you have to use a cover enchantment.... in this case its Vigorous spirit..... make sure you cast Portective spirit>healing breeze> and then Vigourous spirit as the cover enchantment, this way when they use shatter enchantments it strips Vigorous and it doesn't strip PS or HB which are very important.... especially seeing mesmers are usually paired up with elementalist which do very high dmg.....

Basically it takes some practice to get used to it... I've been successful a few times, and sometimes I die.....

PS.... "going SOLO in FoW is more for a challenge"... and I believe I can quote KCP on that.... UW is much more profitable....but fow is completely possible to solo, just a little more difficult!

Good Question.... and KCP when you read this please feel free to put in your 2 cents seeing your are the build originator!!!

Remember to thank KCP for this.... This build really will improve your income, trust me!

I see that you solo UW, yet I don't see any method of taking out dying nightmares before they strip all your enchants and you die.... can you possibly explain how that is managed?

I HIGHLY agree with KCP when it comes to NM's.... they are very easy to deal with.... they die with 2 max customized wand hits....

and if they do strip you... hide behind the ghost to the left of where u spawn, the ataexes can't get u there if u get in the right spot, then u can put your enchantments back up!!!!!!!!!!!

Scar armor just gives you more energy. -50hp offhand item can be found in the Cities of Ascalon quest in Ascalon by the scribe nearthe Great Northen Wall zone.

tnx for the info, I just like to play with necro's, just made my self a new 1 o_O whay U ask? lol they are more fun then any thing else .
there are just a few things that I would change:

whay use shadow of fear and SS (griffon farming) to getter?? if they attack faster u get more energy and they die faster, so I would say suffering and SS it works better and for Rockshots if they are 2 late and u can cast suffering(it happend a lot) then u have something of use. and for the armour if some 1 knows how to energy manage then he/she can just use the armour from collectors, and superior death magic cost more then 2 or 3 k so just buy 3 superior soul reaping.
I have not tryed UW or FoW yet but will try it soon .
has any 1 tryed FoW with this build??? plzz let me know.

TNX guys

I uploaded a vid over the weekend of a run against griffons & mino's since we never seemed to have favor...

http://files.filefront.com/griffons_.../fileinfo.html

Same build as the FoW one except subbed in Orision for Vig Spirit.
Mobs don't usually take that long to kill, but I hadn't noticed the devourers pop up, so my Spiteful and Insidious both got distracted at one point.

*edit: I go with 9 healing, 9 prot for an extra pip of regen on the HB. 1-2 sec shorter prot spirit isn't a big deal to me

for griffin farming you don't use shadow of fear on the griffs.... u use it against the rockshots so they use distractring shot to interupt that and then you can get off SS

Just built my I-necro yesterday and am experimenting with the three open slots. (You need the other five to make it work efficently) See above for build basics. I am using scar armor for the energy.

Has anyone considered splitting points between curses and death? I have no idea how it would work in FoW or other underworld spot. I am using spiteful spirit, rotting flesh, and well of suffering. Need to careful about timing and energy since each skill cost 15 but I am owning minotaurs, griffins, and those mean distracting scorpions. I have at least 11 points in both death and curses. I can let those scorpions (forget what they are called) distract either spiteful spirit or rotting flesh. Either one will kill them rather quickly. Ah, but the griffins and minotaurs (hydras too) get the whole thing.....massive degen ( I think it is -8 or -9 once i drop the well)

I like to attack a large group and wait until someone dies, then they are all toast.

One question. Does it help to put any points in smiting for Bath. Spirit? I like the idea of orisons for total life regen. Might help when farming mountain trolls. I have been using guardian to cover casting rotting flesh and spiteful spirt with mixed results.

Any suggestions for mountain trolls? Disrupting chop is a bear. My warrior almost never leaves home with out it

Thanks.

Its just like UW.... Use GUARDIAN....

and its better to kill straight out with SS.... keep casting on multiple attackers, its more efficient to cast an additional SS than it is do drop 15 into a well.... good idea but you have to take points from your main offensive skill, curses!!!!!
